10 Secrets About Men

As I was writing this article, I am still wondering what secret a man has which every woman should know. Really, I don’t have any idea on what to write.

As I was browsing the internet, a website catches my attention. This site is not merely on what you search is what you get. This site, The Chick Times features articles which some came from books. I had a chance to glimpse on an article entitled 10 Secrets about Men you didn’t know.

Let me share to you the secrets which I found true based on my experience. Who knows, it’s also true to you? Also, allow me to explain these secrets for you. So let me start with:

• Men want commitment, too. Sounds awkward right? What we think about most men are players, womanizers and the like. Girls believed that men cannot stick on one relationship for a long time. Believe it or not, men also like commitments especially to the one they really love. However, even though how much they like it, men are still men. They are having a hard time on showing what they really feel.

• Men fear rejection, too. We know for a fact that men always want to look tough in front of the girl they like. What we didn’t know is, behind those tough looking front, men are softies inside. They are hurt even more than a woman does when rejected. They are also sensitive in every word that other people tell them. So when you have free time, why don’t you talk with your man on how you love each other and see how your man became “cheesy”.

• Men want to be the biggest, fastest, bestest ever. Looks weird eh? Remember the childhood days where little boys dreamt of being superman or batman? Men are also like that in a way that men want to be every girl’s knight in shining armor. Men always want to gain recognition from their mother, girl friend and the like. Men thinks of ways where he will look a superhero but when all else fail; men make sure that they will not display any act of weakness, instead they show anger. If that will be the case, let him act that way because deep inside, men know their mistake.

• Men like gusty women. In this age, where women are liberal; having a man to does the first move always turn them off? If you still don’t know, men are like girls sometimes. They also like woman who knows how to take the initiative.

• Men don’t like make-up. I know some will react about this but that’s true whether you like it or you like it. Kidding aside, we know that men like looking on girls who wears pretty make-up on their faces. Making them look like walking Barbie dolls. What you didn’t know is, men are trying to analyze your face looking for flaws which you’re trying to hide. Men are more interested on a woman’s natural beauty (it can be inside and out).

• Men don’t like being changed. Let me quote this paragraph from the article that I’ve read. Nothing will explain more than this passage does. This paragraph came from the article 10 Secrets about Men you didn’t know:

“One of men’s greatest fears is not being loved for who they are. They are terrified of being loved for who they could be, which is not quite the same. In fact, it’s an insult. You may be certain that he would look terrific in a tailored suit, but you’re never going to make him think so. • Men dislike “the Spot”. It is very easy to understand. Men don’t like being caught in a police interrogation. Men hates being ask several questions on the spot especially when the questions you’re asking will let him lie to avoid hurting someone’s feeling though.

• Men lie with good intentions, too. Just what I said on the latter, men sometimes are forced to lie to avoid someone being hurt. They did such thing not because they want to lie but they are just too sensitive on other’s feeling and needs. They will not tell you something unpleasant if they know that they can still do something about it. They will lie even at their expense than to hurt others.

• Men are more loyal than you think. People say that men are not contented with one girl. They even think that a guy change girlfriend almost every day. That’s why girls think that when a guy courted them, they are just after the scoring or just want them as a past time, worst scenario, a toy. Even though men likes on looking with other girls, they will still come home to the same girl whom they love. Men are more concern about their work and career than fooling around with other girls in the town.

• Men are not all the same. Girls always say that men are all the same especially when a girl had just a break up with her boyfriend. They keep on saying “Pare-parehas lang lahat ng lalaki, papaasahin ka, sasabihing mahal ka pero sa huli lolokohin at iiwan ka lang.” Well, that’s stupid. There are no people in this whole wide universe who have the same DNA make-up! NOT ALL men enjoy playing basketball, NOT ALL men enjoying eating a lot, NOT ALL men enjoy going to the gym to work out, NOT ALL men think about sex all the time. There are lots of things and activities that NOT ALL men are interested. They’re trying hard to be as unique as possible especially for the one they love. So stop saying that men are all the same.
